I want to buy a calling card for my friend in India so that she can call me here. I found Solaris – it appears to be the cheapest and it has 1-minute rounding, so it looks good. But I am not sure if there is anything else better that you might recommend. Also, she can use ANY phone to call me, is that correct? All she needs is the PIN and the local access number, correct?
Thanks a lot,
If you use a calling card, does the number you call show up on the phone bill (of the phone you are calling from)?
Secondly…will that in any way interfere with a 10 cents per minute calling plan that you already have through your phone provider? This second one is a dumb question…but a friend asked me these questions, and I don’t want to tell her the wrong thing. I haven’t used calling cards and I think you have to dial a 1-800 number and type in the card number/pin number and then it should say to enter the number your want to call. Or that’s what I told her (I also said I’d ask to make sure…haha)…is that right?
I bought “minutes”from a 900 service. I would like to package them into “calling cards”
I want to know how to get the application program that makes random number so that whrn the customer scrach the card and type the random number on the phone, the computer accept it and count the minutes down as they are used.
I have a European phone card (the type you enter the pin number when you make a call) but only ever used them from land lines. If you use it from a mobile, do you receive less minutes talk time?
My friend lives in Jordan and she doesn’t have the typical calling number. Her number would look like 3457892. I went on a website for international calling codes. The website told me to use 011- 942 then my friend number. The calling card also has the same 011 as the area code. I am not sure how to use the pin number on the card as well as using the international instructions. Can anyone help me ?
I want to send an international fax that through my phone line. What I did was connected my phone line to the fax and have my phone connect to the fax. I have a prepaid calling card with an access number and a pin number. Can someone explain in detail what I need to do in what order, when to use the phone to punch in the numbers or use the fax machine to punch in the numbers or what because I don’t want to get charged for international fax.
If I were to use a random calling card from my home phone, when the phone bill came in, would it show the number I called? Or would it just be the pin number from the calling card?
