Im really confused. I’ve never purchased a calling card before but i trying to now but i dont understand what a local access number is. When i look at them it just has one for melbourne or sydney or one for istanbul in turkey. What does this mean? I want it to call from bodrum to adelaide. does this mean i cant use it or somthing?
my auntie needs to call to philippines but she has a new house and theres no land line at the moment so she only uses her mobile phone.
are there any prepaid cards she can use through her mobile phone? or if anyone else have other options, oh and how much $/minute would that be, were looking around 10-15 cents per minute
I’m looking to place a call to Australia from my cell phone to her cell. And I was just wanting to know if anyone knows of any good international calling card companies where I can buy minutes online. I was just checking out Pingo.com with 16.5 cents per m. and it’s been so long since ive even had to call long distance, im out of touch with who where and what good deals are. Thanks for any help.
Im traveling overseas in a few weeks and I want to buy a sim/calling card that will allow me to call people back home in Australia cheaply. I have found two websites, backchatmobile.com.au and roamingsim.com,au but I dont know if they are any good.
I’m in Australia and want to call home. I have the international plan set up on my cell, but its still more expensive than a calling card. If I use a calling card from my cell, does ATT charge me the minutes as well? In other words, will I be paying for the calling card AND $1.29 a minute for the call by ATT?
when someone calls internationally with a calling card does it charge me? He called me from Australia, using a calling-card. we talked for 30 minutes, around 3 AM. I have free nights and weekends with AT&T… so will i get billed for this? and if so how much?
thanks a million.
I use PennyTalk to call my son in Oz but it’s 27 cents/minute to call his cell phone. I know that skype would essentially be free but he’s not around puters much. Anyone know a cheaper plan?
The problem is calling the cell. If I called a landline in Oz, it would be just 2c/minute.
Hey, well I’m from Australia and one of my good friends just recently moved to America.
She can’t afford spending money on calling cards at the moment as she is trying to settle in and get a job so she hasn’t got money to waste on calling cards.
We are very close so I’d like to buy calling cards to call her but I don’t know what card to buy? I went into the newsagency, a big book was brought out showing all different types of calling cards and I have no idea which one would be best for me to buy?
I just really need some help from someone that is familiar with calling cards and which ones they usually buy.
I’ve also seen some websites on the internet talking about free international calls calling via a gateway and I’d like to know if these sites are for real or not?
Basically I just need some help. Help would be greatly appreciated on this.
I don’t have a mic, and the person I want to call doesn’t have a computer with a mic either, I already know about skype and so on that’s why I’m asking about calling cards cause that’s what I want.
